1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work in the bank of scotland and am a cashier where I deal with customers complex transactions and handle money.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt the role right from the start as I am new to lloyds banking group so everything has been learnt from scratch. I have also developed my conversational skills.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I did enjoy the apprenticeship although it was a slight struggle getting time in branch time to do this. I have also not finished this fully although it was meant to finish last month as my apprenticeship coach has left the company so I am now being passed to a different learner.

4. How valued do you feel by Lloyds Banking Group?

I feel extremely valued by Lloyds Banking Group and I have always been made to feel very welcome in the group.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

I was not overly impressed with the structure of my programme as I was asked to do certain workbooks with no assistance and then did not know from month to month when my next meeting with my learner was.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

My training provider was not easy to get hold of and then left the company on my last month of my apprenticeship which has still not been completed due to this. Adding unnecessary stress.

My employer has been absolutely amazing and is always willing to support me.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

On par with any other apprenticeship programme

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

Not for what my apprenticeship has covered but I am more than happy with this.
