Technical Operator: Edit, Camera (Studio & Location), Sound (Studio & Location), Floor Managing, Runner, etc.
All new skills I have learnt have been during my placements, I have learn multiple brand new skills mainly the mentioned above.
I enjoy the placement side of the program completely, including training at Wood Norton. However the college side of the apprenticeship has been disorganised and frankly a shambles start to finish.
In the department I work in, Midlands Today, completely as these are the people I work with day in day out.
Not very, I would like to see the Academy to drop Newcastle College from the program and replace this with training at BCU or similar.
Moderate support, distance is an issue for some problems and having a full schedule does not help.
Full support, any problem can be solved.
Moderately, however a pay rise has been granted to all apprentices starting in the new tax year.
There are as many opportunities as you create for yourself, the BBC does not limit me in this.
Yes
Compared to other broadcasters, it is the most welcoming.
Put all your effort into it, really show your interests.
