Broadcast Operator Apprentice. Day-to-day: I have started working on the media hub, liaising with journalists and correspondents to ensure that they're footage is uploaded in full onto the server for editing and use in all news bulletins. Taking in the weather footage and also OSs (Outside Sources) for all news programmes is also an important role on the media hub.
Yes, Massively.
I enjoy my working day every single day... its always interesting.
Highly, I feel I've become part of the team almost immediately.

Regular meetings and close contact!

Plenty of opportunities.
Yes
An incredible experience and company to work for where young peoples ideas and values are respected and listened to.
Throw everything you have into the application and take any opportunity to flesh out your application... Editing, filming and sound mixing are all good skills but they are only useful in an application if they belong to an enthusiastic employee.
