  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very structured. It began the first week in October where we received 3 days induction, followed by a 1 day Financial Excel training course, and then the Friday where we would be in our teams for the first time. We were able to meet our managers during the 3 day inductions, where we were shown our teams and our futures desk areas. There was a strong support team throughout the course of the year, with monthly meetings held to discuss any problems, and things that were going well. We were also encouraged to meet with a support mentor as often as we deemed appropriate. This was typically a manager from a different area of the bank. I found this useful as it enabled us to broaden our networking across the business. My team gave me the time I needed each day to study for my exams, and were also helpful in giving me the appropriate tasks to fulfil my learning objectives for the coursework element. The programme was well organised and also the time was managed well by the support team to ensure we were all finished by the end of the programme.
