1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I learn about medication and dispensing medication for patients and medisure packs for care home patients. I request medication from doctors for patients, I get medication ready for delivery to patients

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes- I learnt about how prescriptions are authorised and claimed for by NHS. I learnt about medication.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy it and even the therory side of it and the studying is really interesting. I'm looking forward to applying for my Level 3.

4. How valued do you feel by Boots?

I feel like an important colleague and I am well supported.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is run very well but sometimes there can be mixed communications.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

A lot- they always return my call and answer any questions I have.

6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot but I do receive more from my trainer and the trainee group

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

As an apprentice the wage is good with Boots but once qualified it isn't that much difference considering the work load and responsibilities we have. It's hard to make ends meet at with the Salary we get at the end of every month, I think it needs reviewing.

Yes

They support you well and there's loads of opportunities to grow with the company if you show willing and work hard

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Boots?

Be positive and set your self goals to achieve where you want to be and Boots will help you
