  • The role mainly involved shadowing those who worked there already for the start of the work experience. I sat in on opticians appointments, manned the reception desk and undertook admin tasks.

  • Developed skills in customer services, regarding both on the phone and face-to-face.

  • It was an enjoyable experience and I gained a lot of new skills and experience.

  • I was very much valued by the team during my time there, and it was ensured that I felt part of the boots community

  • The programme was well structured and allowed me to experience a variety of what the daily job entailed.

  • A lot of support. They were very assertive and ensured I was always receiving the help I needed.

  • A good deal of support was offered in a number of ways. They certainly care for the employees.

  • The salary was sufficient, however was not as high as it could have been for such a job.

  • whilst I was there, opportunities outside of work were not well advertised

  • Yes

  • Good work environment, friendly and assertive colleagues and an all round good experiences

  • Be yourself and enjoy the job you are doing. Customer service is always key.
