  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a personal banking adviser and look after customers banking needs. I can service accounts, open new accounts and provide forms of lending. As part of my role I also deal with bereavement appointments and representitive access. I deal with customers face to face in branch.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • The programme has really helped me to see things more clearly, it has highlighted the importance of my role and also help me to identify ways to make my job easier. I have developed existing skills with this too as again I can see how I do things in a different way.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme, it has been great to meet with others who are also doing the programme, this encourages me to meet new people who has the same work goals as me. I have enjoyed the practical side of this too and meeting up with my assessor on a regulare basis.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Lloyds Banking Group?
  • I feel extremley valued as a Llyods Banking Group staff member, there are a lot of amazing opportunities and doing this programme will help me open more doors. I am very proud to be part of Llyods Banking Group

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I feel the programme does have good structure, however I do feel let down some times with meetings with the assessor as they can often be late and this then eats in to the time we have agreed with each other. The structure of the programme is good and the lay out of what needs done is very clear, which I like.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I feel the support is good but there could be more. Its difficult for the assesors as they have more than one person to help out but I dont feel there is any other support in place. My assessors have changed within my programme too which cannot be helped but there was a big gap within my study which has then impacted myself. I feel this is unfair.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is very supportive, they are interested in the work I am doing and always have a discussion when my assesor is in. I am currently studying for my exam to complete my apprecticeship and my manager has been great and helped when she could.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I am pleased with my salary, I feel this manages my costs very well. I have not had many trips to fund with the apprenticeship and any expenses have been covered by my employer.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes, doing my programme has allowed me to work towards my goals. It has shown me the path I need to go down to reach the goal...the programme has helped me massivley with this and I look forward to seeing what the future holds

  • Llyods Banking Group are a great company to work for, we have excellent benefits and the salary is good. i really enjoy my role and I have had the opportunites to progress when wanted.

  • To be yourself, the group welcome people from all walks of life and you should be proud of who you are. it is a simple applicaion process to go through and once you become an employee the amount of opportunites and chance to progress will be highlighte.d
