  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My day to day role cosists of helping customers and resolving complaints which are in regards to the mis-selling of their Packaged Bank Account. Through this i investigate into the sale of the PBA and look to see if the customer had been mis-sold the account.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • From starting the role i have worked and increased my investigative skills. It has also opened my eyes to understands dufferent customer circumstances which may affect the mis-sale. This role has also increased my patience.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I would say that i enjoy the programme as i am able to work onthe apprenticeship work on the side as well as do my daily role. Also the work is not over exerting so therefore its easy to flick back and forth between the work and not forget what you are doing.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Lloyds Banking Group?
  • I do feel valued from Lloyds Banking Group. When on the apprenticeship programme you get treated like any other colleague and therefore not treated differently. You also are able to get the to be able to do the work which is linekd to the apprenticeship

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • At the start of the programmed the organisation wasn't the best as we only met with our apprenticeship leader once every 3 months however this has recently been changed to more often to ensure that we are keeping up with the work and to ensure we get the help which is needed.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • When our training provider visits she is very helpful and understanding of situations. She has also given us all her details so we are able to get in contact with her so we can get help at any point she doesnt have to be in the business.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Our employer (Lloyds Banking Group) are very helpful. As the apprenticehsip oftens asks questions which are not department specific they provide either colleagues which are able to help in that area or are able to provide us with the correct infomation from that area.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The salary that we recieve covers all of the costs of the apprenticehsip due to this not having a factor on us and the buisness pay all costs of the apprenticeship programme.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Outside of work we are able to complete the booklets for the apprenticehsip which can be very handy if our work diary is full and we are unable to complete in work.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I believe that Lloyds Banking Group is a very good business to work for due to the career progression chances and also the devolpment opportunities. Therefore i would happily recommend LBG to a friend as i believe it is a good business to work for if you are looing for a career.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • When applying for Lloyds Banking Group i would give the advice of ensuring that their CV matches the job description and personal spec. Also to ensure thay are always wanting to do whats best for the customer as that is one of LBGs aim which is to become the best bank for customers.
