  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The work itself is not too bad and sometimes it is actually really interesting. The team is very friendly and outgoing so that makes work life much easier. There are also many socials organised by the department for us to have some fun.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Deloitte?
  • I feel very valued by my department as I have been given responsibilities early on and I am not treated any differently because of my lack of knowledge.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think my programme is very well organised and I hope to be ACA and ATT qualified at the end of the programme. I spend a lot of time in college to make sure I am prepared for the exams.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • All new joiners are given a coach and a buddy which I think is great. My buddy was there to show me the ropes and be a friend to me. My coach was always there to give me advise and to listen to my concerns.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • As I live in London my salary is higher than other regional offices. Considering only being 18 years old I think my package of 22k is pretty good and next years pay rise would make my salary the same as a graduate's, roughly 30k.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • The London office has a gym although I don't really use it. Depending on your department there are usually a lot of socials and drinks just to make work a bit more fun.

    10/10

  • 9. Would you recommend Deloitte to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a very friendly place to work and it is not too bad in terms of the pressure of work life. Everyone here respects that everyone else has their own lives so no one is burdened by work.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte?
  • Just be outgoing and friendly. Your grades or qualification doesn't mean much if your not very likeable. The interviews are less linear than you may think.
