  • Credit Manager Looking at loan applications and assessing weather they are viable to lend to. Learning about the bank policies and the standards that I am expected adhere to as well as balancing with time to study towards financial lending certificate and charted bankers diploma.

  • Everyone is very open and welcoming which makes the work and environment very enjoyable.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by NatWest?
  • Very positive feedback with a huge emphasis on getting everyone included. Feel part of the team from day one.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Training plan set out by trainer who changes over to another after 3months to get better understanding of other aspects of credit. If any help or questions need to be asked multiple people able to answer with wealth of experience available.

  • Training provider being BPP offers multiple ways of getting support through email/helpline and online VLE platform as well as direct communication with assessor.

  • Everyone is always open to help in way they can. Plenty of help tools available within in the workplace.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Salary comfortably meets all costs that I have traveling on the train everyday to all social cost and food.

  • Some form of event is always taking place that we are encouraged to get involved with.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Extremely welcoming and offering of great opportunities going forward. Great alternative if someone doesn't particular want to go down the uni route. There is always continuous development with opportunities to go forward always available.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest?
  • Be prepared to actively seek work and be willing to work. Research the role that you are applying to and think is it suited to you. Always ask questions on anything and everything you are unsure about be it during the application process or once you are just starting and throughout
