  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Every day is different but mostly I engage with customers and assist the Assistant relationship director and the relationship director with their tasks including chasing forms, faxing, filling in forms and then ensuring they get to the right place in a time efficient manner.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've started to learn about banking as a subject through BPP and therefore extending my knowledge of the economy and the law and regulations surrounding it. I have also learnt how to do daily office work such as copying and faxing which I didn't know how to do beforehand which is a useful thing to have learnt.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by NatWest?

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Inductions were really good as it was a 2 day session about both the Bank and the Apprenticeship which was really useful and full of information. I do a full day of study each week which works well for me and is helping me to learn a lot more effectively. I have catch ups with my manager about how I am doing and can talk to any one if I feel worried or uneasy which is great.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are lots of voluntary opportunities with my being able to go into schools with MoneySense and lots more to do with many different charities which is brilliant. I can go to the gym which is down the road from work which is very useful but would be great if a gym membership was part of the RBS benefits ? I baked a lot when I wasn't working and would love to somehow bring this into work either for charity or something likr that.
