  • I am an infrastructure architect and take part in a wide variet of tasks from governance to infrastructure design.

  • I have been given the opportunity to go on many internal and external training courses. ITIL, PRINCE2, Architectural Thinking

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • the work load is a good eamount ot keep me busy, but the apprenticeship scheme and my role does not always supply enough leniency between my role and the apprenticeship document itself that needs to be produced. I enjoy working with my colleagues in the company culture at IBM.

  • I am trusted with different scales of tasks with implies confidence in me.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It could be improved but it has been good so far, as i live away from the main hub my apprentice manager has not travelled up to meet with me, but has arranged a 3 meetings to discuss my progress.

  • I would say i receive a sustainable amount of support

  • I receive a lot of support from my account manager and other members of the team.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • It is just meeting my life costs but will hopefully increase as i move through the scheme.

  • not as many when i live away from the two central hubs.

  • 9. Would you recommend IBM to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • its a good company to get a career with and is willing to help but just needs to improve in certain areas to compete and go above and beyond others.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to IBM?
  • FOcus on the applciation and be yourself, do your research into the company you're applying for there is nothing worse than going to the interviews and when they ask what does IBM mean and you cant answer it shows youve done no research.
