  • I am a higher apprentice doing electrical and electronic engineering, I do rotational placements across the company and have taken on many roles, I have done programing, configuring, quoting customers, wiring, motor maintenance, drive projects, risk assessments and much more.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many new skills and gained lots of product knowledge. some of the main skills I have developed over my time in my apprenticeship have been communication skills and the ability to give a presentation. programing skills and the knowledge to use many different types of software. Safety training working with high and low voltage.

  • I am enjoying my apprenticeship a lot it is very enjoyable.

  • I feel like a full employee and valued very highly by my peers and by the company.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program I am on extremely organized and all my training workload and placements are planned out from the start of the scheme to ensure my time in work is as pleasant a it can be with not to much stress.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • My training provider could be a little more supportive in some of the lessons they teach and the guidance through the courses could be executed a lot better in my opinion

  • I am fully supported by my employer they help me every step of the way.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My pay package is sufficient for my needs but for the work load I feel like it should be higher.

  • Yes there are many activities to take part in outside of work for example I took part in a born survivor challenge to raise money for charity and I lay football on a weekly basis

  • Yes

  • Its the best apprenticeship in Manchester by far

  • Be passionate about it and they will back you all the way
