In my 3rd year role I am working as a finance and commercial partner to the Newcastle Siemens wind power training center, the wind power and power generation apprentices and the wind power travelling technicians. My role involves analysis of spend within the cost centers, monitoring and reporting on utilization, forecasting on a monthly basis, budget preparation etc.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I really enjoy being a Siemens finance and commercial student. I have felt supported by my manager throughout my time on the scheme. Siemens has opened up many opportunities for me and I know I made the right choice choosing an apprenticeship as opposed to university.
