Project Management Apprenticeship
If you’re interested in supporting the future of a global business, there’s no better place to start than our Project Management apprenticeship. The 18-24 month programme puts an emphasis on learning in the workplace on live projects, supported by theoretical classroom learning. You’ll cover a diverse range of subjects integral to understanding successful project management, with the support of some of the most engaging colleagues in the business.
You’ll gain exposure to and support the management of key projects, from start to finish, use industry recognised software tools and build relationships with colleagues and clients. So by the time you’ve completed, you’ll have industry-recognised qualifications, along with all the skills and experience for a successful career in project management.
- Taking responsibility for the delivery of specific elements in the management of projects such as scope and schedule
- Building strong relationships with colleagues and clients
- Supporting your colleagues in the management of large scale projects and programmes
We're committed to the growth of our apprentices, and that's why right from the start you'll be able to earn while you learn, as you are trained and supported throughout the scheme. On top of this, you'll receive a permanent contract from day one with a full range of flexible benefits, including 25 days' holiday, private medical insurance, a pension plan and a fully funded training program to help you achieve your qualifications. This programme has everything you need to take on a role as a fully-fledged project management expert.
What you'll cover:
All our apprentices learn the basics of project management, such as stakeholder engagement and project communications, as early as possible. So you'll be straight in the field and making an impact on real projects. From there you'll learn plenty of specialist skills tailored to your talents and competencies. These could include managing project scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, resources and contracts, or leading your own areas of responsibility.
Qualifications you will achieve as part of your Project Management apprenticeship:
- Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship
- Agile Foundation
For this scheme you’ll need 5 GCSEs / Scottish National 5’s or equivalent at grades 4-9 / A-C (including Maths and English), plus 2 A-levels / Scottish Highers or equivalent.
