Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship

We have an exciting opportunity to join Dstl as a laboratory technician apprentice within our Chemical Biological and Radiological Division, at Porton Down, Salisbury. You will get to work on exciting projects and work alongside internationally renowned scientists.
As an apprentice at Dstl you will learn the technical elements of running a lab, maintaining stock and working on project work that truly makes a difference.

Minimum age is 18.
5 GCSEs (C and above) and A levels (or equivalent) in a STEM based subject
Due to the reserved nature of this role, it is only open to UK Nationals who have lived in this country for more than five years. All posts require standard Security Clearance (SC).
Starting salary is circa £12,500 per annum and the apprenticeship is on a 2 year fixed term basis.
