Financial Customer Advisor Level 3 Apprenticeship

LTSB are in its 6th year of partnership with NatWest Group and are looking for young people who are passionate about Banking & Finance to join a range of apprenticeship opportunities in permanent roles with the bank in 2024.

Finance & Customer Advisor Programme

We are offering places on our three-week interactive programme where you will receive employability training, interaction with NatWest Group staff and Q&A sessions, gain insight into the culture at NatWest Group and other employers, interview prep work and advice from previous LTSB students on their apprenticeships.

Programme start date:

  •  Monday 29th July

Successful completion of our programme guarantees you an interview with NatWest Group for a permanent role.

Starting Salaries:

  • Hanley: £23,940

LTSB will continue to support successful candidates until roles commence in the autumn, and then for the first year of your career.

On the apprenticeship you’ll study to gain a qualification while putting new skills to use in work, earning a competitive salary, and being supported professionally through the programme.

Apprenticeship (the qualification you'll get)

You'll complete a Level 3 Senior Financial Services Customer apprenticeship.

Job Description (the role you'll be doing)

  • Deliver successful customer and business outcomes through investigating queries, supporting business processes, policies and procedures and understanding customer and business needs.
  • Respond to queries from customers and stakeholders promptly and within agreed timescales
  • Deliver successful customer and business outcomes by processing, authorising and investigating all transactions, and by accurately collecting the required information from customers and business
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide the best experience possible
  • Completing admin related tasks such as managing pipeline and arranging meetings Coverage & Sector Content Apprentice in our Corporate/Financial Institution teams
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Developing a good understanding of all aspects of strategy and core NatWest products

Eligibility

We are looking for young people aged 16– 24 who are passionate about building a career in customer service and/or business administration. You don’t need previous experience, but you do need to show evidence of a genuine interest in the sector.

Eligibility Criteria:

We work in areas where talent struggles to find opportunity, and so we are specifically looking for young people who were eligible for free school meals, or from areas of low educational attainment, or have faced personal disadvantage. To be eligible you must meet the following criteria:

  • 16-24 years old
  • Did not attend a fee-paying school
  • Received free school meals and/or require additional support to access careers

We are looking for young people with a passion for learning and helping customers have the best experience. There is no minimum academic criteria although Maths and English GCSE in England and National 5 qualifications or Foundation Apprenticeships in Scotland would be an advantage
