Why did you choose to join Accenture’s apprenticeship programme?

As I was planning to go to university, knowing the challenges that a lot of graduates are facing due to lack of experiences, the Accenture’s apprenticeship programme was the perfect match to my career plan: experience + qualification

What skills have you learnt on the programme?

I’ve had the great opportunity to learn a great deal of soft and hard skills problem-solving/ critical thinking, Java programming, requirement analysis, test scripts QA, defect management and reporting, testing and many more

What is the most enjoyable aspect of the programme and your role at Accenture?

The ability to get the opportunity to work for different clients on completely different projects with their own individual challenges. I am currently on the bench

What do you think it takes to be an Apprentice at Accenture?

A lot of determination and commitment. It also requires a driven person who can cope well with under pressure and is not afraid of new challenges but most importantly will go the extra mile to learn

Top tip for someone applying to the programme?

Be prepared to push yourself as most of the time on client sites you will be an employee like everyone else and not an apprentice. Do not be afraid to ask questions or seek help. Finally connect, connect, connect
