  • I support managers as well as other areas of work such as the Business Support Unit. I help them with deliveries, phone calls, collecting/collating data and other tasks that are outside of the office.

  • I have learnt how MS65 apps, such as excel formulas work to collect data easily and I've gained more experience of note taking and listening from attending monthly meetings.

  • I enjoy it very much. My talent coach and line manager helps me a lot with the programme.

  • It's very organised and well-structured.

  • A lot of support. They have helped me come up with what my project should be.

  • I receive a good amount of support. They aid me with any questions or difficulties I have throughout my apprenticeship.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The courses that they provide me has made me gain a better understanding of how I act around situations e.g. how to be better at listening during meetings, how to deliver a good presentation.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There's engagement activities that allow us to work together as a team. I'm involved with creating a monthly notice board to celebrate any events during the month. We also have guitar & gigs clubs and swimming competitions.

  • Yes

  • I believe that it'll be beneficial to them as well as gaining valuable experiences that will be helpful to apply in future job roles.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Home Office?
  • Working as a team is better than working alone. It's much more fun and gets the job done quicker.
