  • My primary role involves dealing with data to highlight important insights, identify patterns and extract relevant information which align with my personal strategic goals as well as that of the business for the fiscal year.

  • I've developed and learnt a variety of technical skills such as programming,machine learning,ethical ai whilst also building on soft skills such as communication,teamwork & leadership

  • I really enjoy the program, I have a good balance of work projects interacting with stakeholders whilst also completing university content and developing my knowledge

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is very well structured, there is regular communication from the university and the business. There is regular workflow from both sides and a good balance between the two is maintained

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have regular check ins with both my manager and apprenticeship supervisor to ensure everything is going well and I am receiving the required support. There is a great atmosphere and you'll be able to reach out to anyone when needed

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Like the company, lectures and support stuff are always available to support. There is a wealth of resources and people to contact if any issues arise. The learning material and assignments ensure that I am building the required skills to become a professional data scientist.

  • The University have conducted a lot of research to identify what skills a Data Scientist needs. There is always extra material available and the extra motivation of working towards a qualification building all the skills

  • There are numerous professional networking events to exclusive apprentice events , young people to wider company network. Furthermore, there are volunteering events to take part and help the local community

  • Yes

  • Overall, the company is really flexible and it has numerous benefits and the plan for professional development is a key aim and employees and consistently supported in meeting their goals

  • Research the organisation, you'll find a number of projects that they've worked on the have benefited the local community but most importantly be yourself
