  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • on a day to day basis I do reconciliations for the month I also work of any queries that come through. At month end I complete my monthly journals and any journal adjustments that are needed, including closing the books for Italy. I also complete bank payment to Italy and Germany ensuring that all payments are up to date

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes I have learnt many different skills such as using different databases within the organization, how to complete journals and reconciliations up to business standards. I have also learnt how to note my tasks and have them planned out in a way which is best for me to use to know what I need to do on a certain day

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my program greatly, I am given one day to study a week allowing me to keep on top of my course work and I can also go into the office 4 days a week to put my course work into practice.

  • my programme is vey well organized with a structured one day a week for study and a lot of communication between my AAT tutor and my work manager

  • I receive a lot of support from my employer such as being very flexible with my study and any exams that I have.

  • I receive weekly 1-1 with my tutor and live lessons also recordings of any previous lessons

  • I feel like my qualification is very good for my job role as a lot of what i learn with my qualification I am able to take on many new tasks in my job role

  • Yes there is a lot of extra curricular activities such as giving back to the community and women's empowerment movement and different diversity and ethical networking
