  • I provide assistance to technicians and engineers, helping with calculations, design work, energy modelling and equipment selections

  • i am learning all the time. Every week i learn new skills and develop my knowledge.

  • I enjoy the programme because what i learn at uni matches well with what i do at work, so its a really good fit

  • the programme works very well and is structured to become more challenging with each topic, but each topic builds on a previous one, so is very good

  • Lots! I am always able to reach out to my team for help with queries or if i need time to study, etc.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The course is quite intense this year, but lecturers are helpful with queries and always happy to support

  • 100%! Its helping me to put the puzzle pieces together and understand why we do what we do

  • Yes, lots of things going on. You can join an activity almost every day of the week. Lots of sports clubs, lots of social events. There is a really good team environment

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Arup members are driven by their interest in their work. They want to design the best buildings, systems, etc. and everyone is enthusiastic about that. Because of this, everyone is supportive and helpful


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Arup?
  • Do it! You will learn a lot and be welcomed and encouraged to develop in whatever way you want!
