  • Have meetings with people, networking, developing as a software developer through coding on a project.

  • I learned how to code as I had no previous experiences, and Arup is helping me a lot with my communication and presenting skills through allowing me to presents to various groups.

  • 8/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The organisation of the program is pretty good. We got a full overview of the program at the beginning as well as how does Arup work. It could be a bit more clear in uni but overall is good.

  • I get help whenever I ask for it.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • This is 50/50, as often we do receive help through additional meetings in uni and the plan at the beginning, however often we don't get enough information or the information for future lectures and modules are hidden until couple of week beforehand.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I do learn a lot of usefull information at university and the lectures and seminars are relevent to my day to day work.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There's a lot of events as there's different groups which anyone can join to. Sometimes there's 3-4 optional events per week.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It's a really friendly atmosphere with a lot of help provided whenever you ask for it. There's more than enough social events and opportunities to network and learn.
