I am currently working at an underwriters for a period of around 11 months. During this time I am working in upstream energy, not only do I find this interesting I am also enjoying the day to day work. I assist in the processing of slips onto the systems we use as well as creating references for slips. Recently I have been helping with Credit Control.
I am almost complete in gaining my Certificate in Insurance which Lloyd's has sponsored and helped me through. The concept of these qualifications is great because they promote learning about the business in which I am working.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the apprenticeship and it has lived up to my expectations.

Training is frequent and was full on at the beginning which was definitely helpful. There were days where outside speakers would come in and explain how the insurance market works which was beneficial.
