  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work with children within a wide range of ages and abilities at primary school level. I work closely with my school year team, and collaborate with staff in order to reach the maximum benefit for the children. I am responsible for two SEN children, who I work with daily. I am responsible for upholding learning and accsessablilty for all students and help out the class teacher where possible.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed skills that help me with working with SEN children and have developed my understanding of how children learn and what type of environment children need in order to reach their potential. I have learned skills on how to work closely with staff and students.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed working with my programme. They were extremely receptive and helpful throughout my apprenticeship. They were able to answer any questions and problems I faced with efficiency and ease.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • LMP education is extremely well organised, they were efficient with tasks and clear about what was expected of me to complete. They were understanding of when I needed to have extra time to complete assignment. The programme is well structured in staggering the assignments in timely blocks.

  • I received lots of support from my employer, I was guided with lots of help and my questions were answered promptly and with clarity. I am very happy with the level of support I received from my employer.

  • I received lots of support from my employer, I was guided with lots of help and my questions were answered promptly and with clarity. I am very happy with the level of support I received from my employer. I received lots of support from my employer when working towards my qualification. I was given time to prepare room to work when requested.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel more confident in my role and my ability to work across multiple ages groups within my school.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are extra-curricular activities like sports clubs that I am able to get involved with if i wanted to. My school is very welcoming and offered a range of social events.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They are friendly, accessible, and reliable when working towards a qualification. Their communication was excellent and I felt as though I had support throughout my time working with them. I am happy to have chose LMP in order to obtain my qualification.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to LMP Education?
  • Ask any questions you have as they will be answered efficiently and with clarity. Keep up with tasks and keep a track of your progress.
