  • Email team members to see if they need help on any tasks they have to complete. Worked with different people in different sectors to complete a project on time between September 23-December 23 daily tasks - compliance training and keeping in touch with my line manager

  • Better communication skills Time management New skills - Understanding different software's that i have never used before Putting myself out there so other team members know I am willing to help

  • I enjoy this programme a lot, it has taught me things i would have never of thought i would have learnt doing any other job

  • Extremely. I know who to go to know when i need help and I know where to find the resources i need in order to complete my daily tasks

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support. With balancing a degree and job they are amazing at allowing me to revise when i need to

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A fair amount at the moment. The training provide makes sure that we have the resources we need and that they are accessible too

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • A lot. Learning new topics within my qualification allows me to go back to my job and use what I have learnt to understand my role on a much higher level

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • At work they do have sports teams, most importantly they do have networking events and i have been lucky enough to travel to Scotland to be a part of an awards evening with hundreds of different people.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Lockheed Martin to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It has given me the confidence boost I have needed when it comes to believing myself. Within Lockheed Martin nothing is impossible. Everything you set out to achieve is do able and the support around makes it all worth while.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lockheed Martin?
  • Be yourself, show the employers what you have to offer and be honest. For me it was a big career change and it is one I wished I had done sooner. So if you are considering to apply go for it!
