  • Working in audit at an associate level in the Birmingham PwC office.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Learnt how to use PwC tools such as Vantage, Connect and Aura. These helped me to improve my technical skills, particularly within Microsoft Excel.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme is challenging, but rewarding. I think it is the right balance of university and work and therefore I would say I enjoy the experience.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very well structured, it is clear when each placement/study period is. It is not made clear that a significant portion of the cohort (around 3/8) do not graduate due to failure in exams or placement, this should be known before joining.

  • The employer is very supportive, as well as the university backed teams too. I would recommend them wholly.

  • The support is extremely fantastic, they allow you to study a difficult qualification at ease.

  • The qualification is directly linked to the role, and therefore is extremely relevant.

  • Yes, there are several opportunities to get involved in these across a range of activities.

  • Yes

  • A great place to work, collaborate and develop as a person. The support, as well as the community is welcoming and understanding.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • I would consider that it is very competitive, and therefore working on soft skills such as interview preparation and general awareness around the subject area would be useful.
