  • Care and support to adults with learning disabilities. Supporting them to live a life as independently as possible. Rota management, on call duties. Care and support planning. Weekly auditing and weekly staffing hour submissions.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to deal with conflict management in confrontational settings. I have also learnt into how a company runs and how each person learns things differently, and also how everyone has a different leadership style.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have loved this programme, I have learnt so much into the role of being a team leader and using my learning to work towards completing this. Also, through doing all of this studying I have managed to be promoted in my job.

  • It was extremely organised.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received fantastic support from my employer, I felt if needed I was able to contact someone if I was struggling with anything through my course and ask for some advice about ways the company works.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I felt supported from start to end. My supervisor was absolutely amazing throughout the duration of my course. She was always at the end of the phone or by email when I felt panicky about anything or if I left something to the last minute.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel this has made me strive at what I do. Through doing all the studying I have had a promotion in my job to Service Manager.

  • Social activities such as team building days.

  • I feel Paragon have been brilliant the tutor I had through my course - My supervisor was amazing and I couldn't of wished for a better tutor. The system I used was also really easy to use to upload my work and check my progress.

  • Apply now! See what courses are available and apply! They are very friendly and make you feel at ease. There is also someone to talk to if you are having any trouble with anything.
