  • involvement on different company projects, as a software engineer/consultant, travelling across the country to see clients/work on site.

  • yes, I now understand the basics/ fundamentals of ; Python, Java, SQL, Data Modelling, BI SQL/Modelling, Project Management, TeraData, etc.

  • it is brilliant. i have learnt so much in so little time, and am still learning whilst earning a competitive salary.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Capgemini?
  • Valued. they are investing their time and effort into me, and funding my training, whilst giving me the oppurtunity to grow within the company, and work with world-known and a colourful spectrum of clients.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • 13 week sprint / 3 months of intense learning, and the final 2 years - Uni degree.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I suffered a bit with my exams and with the way i was processing, so I took a test which showed I have symptoms of dyslexia.. the programme leaders, and tutors have been very supportive and willing to help me develop myself still.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • we have reviewers, and "Buddies" who look after us and ensure we have a point of contact for any questions or help, and to make sure we're aspiring.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • very well, for an apprentice and with my salary, i am content.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • yes, there are conferences with clients, and global conference meetings to discuss the latest developments and ideas.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • it's a once in a lifetime oppurtunity, and the salary is great, and will get better, the more you learn, and you are given the chance to really develop and learn a lot.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • be yourself and open and honest with what you want to do, and where you want to be. they are looking for motivated individuals, with good keen attutudes, and who are willing to go the extra mile. if this describes you, then you really should apply.
