  • My role is a sales counter employee dealing with a lot of internal customers as well as external customers when sourcing goods. I also assist in the yard by loading customers up with heavy goods such as bulk bags.

  • Through being made aware of skills, I have been able to incorporate them to my natural habits through research and trial and error such as the ability to link sell.

  • I throughly enjoyed my programme as it has given me a better understanding of what it takes to work in this kind of environment.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • From the moment I started the programme, the structure of how and when tasks were being done was made available to me which helps when you are able to get ahead as it allows you to stay ahead.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer gave me a lot of support, whether that be by giving me time to complete my work or by answering questions that I had throughout.

  • My apprenticeship coach always supported and pushed me in the right direction when working towards my qualification.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that because of my apprenticeship it has allowed me to work to a much higher standard than before.

  • At work, we occasionally go out on social events such as bowling or for a few drinks.

  • Yes

  • It allows more knowledge to be given out as well as another degree to allow you to progress further.

  • Make sure you are invested in the work we do here otherwise you won't enjoy the apprenticeship.
