  • My main duties involve overseeing a company's marketing and commercial development initiatives. Conducting market and client research, managing client relationships, and developing and implementing marketing strategies are often part of my everyday duties. The management of the company's online presence through websites, web platforms, and digital services is one possible aspect of this. Other potential components include connections with suppliers, brokers, and clients, the development of market research reports, marketing plans and materials, the development and management of sales and promotional campaigns, participation in events and networking opportunities, and the creation of marketing materials. It is also my responsibility to make sure the business reaches its financial objectives in terms of increasing brand recognition, sales, revenue, and the clientele.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I have acquired and honed a variety of abilities during the course of my work. This encompasses stakeholder management, project and budget management, interpersonal and leadership skills, consumer segmentation, campaign management, and digital marketing. It also involves data-driven decision-making. Additionally, I've had the chance to expand my understanding of market research and consumer discovery. I've also been able to use my creativity and problem-solving abilities to produce successful campaigns.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • My Market Manager programmer is a lot of fun for me. I have a lot of responsibility, variety, and chances for both long-term and short-term tasks and goals in this employment. Because I believe I'm contributing to the overarching marketing objective, I consistently push myself to be a better manager and marketer. I constantly widen and deepen my knowledge, which enables me to apply my skills to both existing and brand-new projects. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to network and seek advice from subject matter experts since I believe that they will be highly beneficial to my career development.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My course is nicely organised. Every goal has been carefully prepared, and the strategies needed to achieve each goal are specified and frequently reviewed. I have a very clear idea of what I want to do each day, week, and quarter. I also frequently meet with my bosses to review goals and targets, discuss ongoing projects, and discuss how I'm doing. In general, I think this structure considerably simplifies what is expected of me and helps me focus my efforts in the right directions.

  • I've been fortunate enough to receive a lot of help from my employer. I have access to helpful resources like tools for tracking performance, market research materials, and training sessions for continual skill improvement. Additionally, I've gotten mentorship, frequent performance assessments, networking opportunities, and job leads. My managers have also been accessible to me anytime I have questions or need clarity on something. Overall, the team has been supportive and encouraging of my work, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.

  • My training provider gives me a lot of assistance while I pursue my certifications. I frequently communicate with trainers who are eager to respond to my inquiries and offer resources, both locally and remotely. My training provider gives me pertinent reading material to study from, online simulations to practise what I've learnt, and other helpful resources. Additionally, I frequently get feedback on how I'm doing, and I have access to their career services department if I need direction or help.

  • Receiving my certification from my training provider has been really beneficial for my job as a market manager. I am qualified for a range of managerial positions within the organisation thanks to my training and experience, enabling me to work closely with the senior team and exert more influence. The clients, contractors, and customers I have worked with have all noticed my credentials in a big way. My confidence in my knowledge and skill set has also increased, which helps me in both my short-term and long-term pursuits. Overall, the certifications I've acquired have helped me grow personally and have also offered me more opportunities and responsibility at work.

  • Yes, I've had the chance to participate in a lot of extracurricular activities through my job. I have been able to network with other professionals in my area through attending a variety of professional networking events through my work as a market manager. Additionally, I've had the opportunity to take part in team-building exercises and social events with my coworkers, which has helped me get to know them better and forge lasting relationships. In addition, I was able to join a sports team with my coworkers, which gave me the opportunity to unwind and have some fun while still working hard. I've also had the opportunity to volunteer and participate in a number of projects that are dear to my heart.
