  • My role is to lead and coordinate all sales activities within an organisation. On a day-to-day basis this typically involves setting and striving to meet sales goals, planning and motivating our sales force, creating promotional strategies, developing business relationships with clients, monitoring market trends and analysis, ensuring quality of customer service, etc. I also provide feedback to our marketing team so that they can adjust their campaigns accordingly. Finally, I must stay up to date on the competition and make sure our team is well informed and prepared.

  • Yes, I have learnt and developed several skills during my time as a Sales Manager. I have developed my sales and interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, and marketing prowess. I have also gained experience in customer relations, problem solving, budgeting, negotiation, and forecasting. Additionally, I have learnt how to measure performance and assess potential risks. Finally, I have become more adept with relevant software and digital data collection.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a great deal. I appreciate the amazing opportunities it provides me to gain invaluable experience and learn from a variety of practices and professionals across different departments. I find the challenge of managing sales activities on a daily basis stimulating and rewarding. Additionally, I am constantly learning new skills and improving existing ones, making me better at my job. Overall, I am proud to be a Sales Manager and enjoy the many rewards that come with it.

  • My programme is fairly well organised and structured. I develop performance plans for myself and my team well in advance so that everyone is aware of their responsibilities and expectations. Additionally, I have established various processes and systems that allow us to measure performance, set attainable goals, and ensure quality of service.

  • I receive a great deal of support from my employer. They provide me with the resources I need to achieve success in my role, such as tools, technology, and training. They also offer ongoing feedback and guidance, and are always willing to help when I have questions or need advice. Finally, they make sure I have access to the latest industry news and trends, so that I can stay ahead of the competition.

  • I receive a great deal of support and guidance from my training provider. My trainer is always available to answer any questions I have or provide helpful tips and advice. They also provide me with high quality resources, materials, and interactive courses that are engaging and tailored for my specific needs. Additionally, they are very prompt in offering feedback and guidance when I am working on tasks.

  • I feel that my qualification has helped me to significantly improve in my role. Knowing that I have the knowledge and skills to effectively manage spaces gives me the confidence to take on more responsibilities and push myself to reach higher goals. Furthermore, I am also learning best practices that I can put into practice immediately and help us stay competitive. Finally, I am always looking for new ways to enhance my capabilities and improve my performance.

  • Yes, there are a number of extra-curricular activities that I can get involved in at work. For example, we have an active sports team that I can join. We also have monthly social gatherings and networking events that I can attend. Additionally, we have professional development courses and workshops that I can join in order to sharpen my skills and expand my knowledge. Finally, there are also volunteering opportunities available for those who are interested.
