  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Everyday is a learning day. I really enjoyed the courses content - so relavant and has great importance to become the best health and social care professional. Along with improving my Maths and English as an added bonus. My trainer is amazing - effective communication, goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable, confident and prepared.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Granted there is a lot of modules but do feel that questions can be repeated in percific set modules. Questions could be combined in my opinion to save on repetition, time and energy. Other than this I believe the programme is well structured and has the right content learners should learn to become a better health and social care professional.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • This is dependent on day/ time and staffing rotas. Generally everything covered is apart of our job role and should be aware of and carrying out on a day to day basis. I do feel more support is required -Better facilities for training purposes that are face to face. When it comes to reviews there is no discussion between employers and employees for clarification/ ways of improvement. Reviews from employers are only covered in 1.1s with trainer and learner (which can defeat the purpose on occasions as the trainer did not write the review).

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • The company is holding an event shedding light upon those that make the company work and goes above and beyond (all titles - workers of the company). It is something I am very much looking forward to. Every year we celebrate many occasions with parties and fancy dress for all those apart of the service.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Select Support Partnerships to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Excellent training programmes, some are mandatory and other are for those who want it, furthering knowledge, experience and career. What's great about the company is that everyone has the opportunity to climb the ranks, if they are committed, competent and the will to do so. It is an amazing starting point for anyone who lacks confidence and knowledge.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Select Support Partnerships?
  • Work hard and you will be rewarded. Supporting vulnerable individuals won't make you a millionaire, but what's money when you have job satisfaction, supporting others to live their best life possible and are able to further you knowledge of person centred care and support. If you don't care then the health and social setting isn't your calling.
