  • My job role is important in the company as I read referrals from local authorities, then go through the matching process and decide whether we can support the young person based on the information given.

  • I have learnt new skills in social care e.g. looking at different factors regarding each young person and making sure that they have a smooth admission.

  • I haven't really received any work for my qualification yet as I am just starting it. I am looking forward to learning about mental health and how different experiences affect people.

  • I don't really have any structure in my programme as I have just started it, however I will look forward to becoming organised for my course.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • From my employer, I receive at least 3 hours a week to complete my qualification and to self study. My study time is protected therefore I can't be disturbed.

  • I receive some support from my training provider, however I feel confident to contact them if I need to.

  • I think that my training provider helps me perform better in my role as the work that I will be set will be relevant to my role.

  • I was involved in a conference that my company held, this gave me the opportunity to network with different social care providers as well as commissioners from local authorities.

  • At Inicio Group Ltd, I feel valued as an employee and I am reminded that I am helping change a young person's life. This makes me feel proud of myself and makes others feel proud in their roles.
