  • My day isn't the same everyday, which makes my job more interesting and exciting. But overall I mainly put reports together and transfer data from different data sources onto Spreadsheets. I also send out emails to request data from fund teams.

  • I have learned many new skills such as all Microsoft Platforms, comparing different markets, and overall life skills which will help me in future positions and roles.

  • I love this programme with abrdn! It has taught me so much.

  • The programme is structured very well, which helps a lot when trying to keep on top of different projects.

  • I receive support and advice all the time form my employer, always there when I need the help.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive lot's of support from my training provider. I have a call every 4 weeks with him and he is very good to make time call if needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification work has helped me in my role by learning more about technology, which relates to my job role in many ways.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • At abrdn we have a bunch of Networking groups, I am involved in 3 of them and I attend monthly calls and events outside of work with these groups. It's a great way to meet new people.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I think abrdn's traineeship is the best way to start your career at a young age. The support, advice and, opportunities I have been given with abrdn is amazing.
