  • Complete the management accounts for VMTV, currently completing a number of projects & month end roles

  • Yes, developed my excel skills. Learnt how management accounting works and the process that is involved

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoy the programme, I've been able to develop my skills hugely within this role, and the programme allows me to change rotation every year

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is split into three years, to develop your understanding of the wider organisation and to widen your knowledge of the full process of the finance world and all the aspects that are part of it

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I recieve a lot of support from my team, I could probably do with more support from the grad scheme leaders etc in terms of learning providers

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We receive a good range of study days, however, when we had trouble with our learning provider they were slacking with the info they provided us

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I am able to relate what I have learnt in CIMA back to what I am doing my current role. I can understand processes better and what that means in the role I am doing

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, though I feel like there should be more regular things going on. However this could be because first years are quite isolated in comparison as we are in a different location

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Ability to study for extra qualifications, everyone is lovely, there is support when you need it and there is plenty of opportunity to develop your skills


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Virgin Media O2?
  • You will receive a lot of support, don't stress too much as this is your first role and you are still learning
