  • as a tarmac asphalt operative you could be doing general house keeping or in the control room mixing the asphalt for the customers on the time sheet.

  • just general speaking to drivers and be confident in my speak, have a job i enjoy as others treat you like family.

  • have the experience to explore different places in the company and getting to meet new people.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • i would say too an extent it would need looking upon as the training provided by tarmac could be a bit closer to home than having to travel 4-6 hours.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • if i need anything like time off or holiday they are pretty good with that and any family issues they'll give you the time to sort that out.

  • i'm currently underway on finishing my PODP program and which they are pretty helpful with give you the right advice to complete course and excreta.

  • having the better knowledge for my job role will just improve the way i look around how to complete jobs and think for myself.

  • tarmac has many benefits for yourself and family, you get the best support needed when asked.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Tarmac?
  • be mindful about the work place and dont be shy with the older generation. i would generally just take it as a joke but just be friendly.
