  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role as a project analyst involves supporting 5 engagement managers in my account with managing their finances and supporting them with meeting compliance checks on a regular basis. By doing so, I am frequently engaging with them and an able to provide great support. My role also entails collecting timesheets from contractors, organising them and sending these to finance to be processed.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have picked up several skills. I have learnt how to balance a heavy workload of attending lectures for university and working in my assignments, with working my full time role. I ahve also enhanced my communication skills through being in meetings with external stakeholders and being given more and more responsibility which has certainly bolstered my confidence.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am thoroughly enjoying the programme. I feel trusted by my team and it's a great team environment to be in. The support I'm given is excellent and this has helped me to really push myself and work towards my goals. I would certainly recommend this programme to those considering it.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is structured very well in terms of how we have our lectures on a weekly basis,and how we have our study days to be able to focus on our university assignments. Capgemini is focused on ensuring we do well at both work and at university, which has proven to be highly beneficial.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive excellent support. I have a reviewer who is in regular contact with me, who provides me with guidance, ensures that I'm happy with my workload at Capgemini and with the university of things, and I also have a buddy who is also an apprentice who is there to provide me with support when needed.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive some strong support. I have been given a skills coach from my training provider who essentially ensures that I'm on the right path, gives me tips and advice and checks up on me to ensure I'm happy with university and the apprenticeship side of things as well.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that my qualification is certainly helping me to better perform in my role as the degree is very inter and covers a wide range of business related topics, therefore what we learn is always applicable and helpful when it comes to applying it to my job role at Capgemini.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are multiple sports teams including football,netball and rugby to get involved in. There are also apprentice networking days at our offices, meetups for each business unit and there are lots of different initiatives within the business that make it feel like a huge community where everyone is welcome.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Capgemini to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I feel my company looks out for it's employees and is focused on our health and wellbeing at work. The salary alongside the benefits are great, there is a great community feel to Capgemini, and a strong family feel as soon as I joined the company. Capgemini has helped to transform me into a a much more confident and skillful apprentice in such a short amount of time.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • Ensure you research the company, it's values, what it's doing from a sustainability perspectives and it's aims/goals. Be confident in the assesment centre and remember it's normal to be nervous, but just be yourself and think about what the interviewer is looking for. Ensure you knowledge on the company is there.
