  • As an intern/trainee you work within different teams on different clients each week, with varying degrees of responsibility.

  • I have developed my communication skills as well as digital literacy skills and expended my fundamental knowledge of accountancy.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The combined placement and degree course is challenging at times and can often lack guidance but overall it has been a positive experience.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The beginning two years felt more structured than the final two. Final year placement involved no warning of receiving laptops, passwords or general new starter information. Additionally, in person training was cancelled with no formal explanation the day before.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We receive a lot of support both mentally and financially. Well being walks and coffee catchups occur a lot. We also received some extra financial support for paying bills during the winter months.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Three months of placement and the remaining time is at university so the split is enjoyable to get both experiences.

  • The exams co inside with the progress during the placements.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are several socials during the year. There socials specifically for flying starts as well which are often funded by PwC.

  • Yes

  • Good place to learn the fundamentals.
