  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • In my current role my day to day involves replying to sales queries, meeting with my project stakeholders to give progress updates. Also, working with our sales managers to explore ways in which we can streamline our business processes and make it easier for sales people to sell.

  • I have learnt how to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders more effectively. I have also built great time management and project Management skills by working on time sensitive projects

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I truly enjoy my programme and I believe that BT and the apprenticeship community has offered a great amount of support

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • there has recently been some changes to our scheme due to our rotations overlapping with our End point assessment. Although, BT have managed this well by communicating with out uni Provider

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Alot of support ! From university lectures, 1-2-1 support, skills coach, line manager and our team

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot of support. We have the opportunity to have 1-2-1 with a third party to help us with general academic studies

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The learning I've taken throughout the modules has enabled me to become better at managing projects by using gent charts. It has also helped me improve my time management skill by discovering reading strategies

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is lots to get involved in. We have an early careers team who manage all these social activities. There is also opporutntiy to attend schools events to promote apprenticeships

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I've truly enjoyed my time at BT. Choosing an apprenticeship over going to university is the best thing I have ever done !


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • Be yourself and be confident in your abilities. Also, come prepare, know what the role is and why you are applying for it
