  • On a day to day basis I invite customers into the store, answering many enquiries. I also show new customers holidays, filling in their needs and expectations of their holiday, and book when possible. More to this, I sell holiday extras and insurance.

  • I have developed skills such as using new working platforms. I have also learnt how to use more persuasive words and phrases to help sell holidays. And learnt to sell extras and what is required when selling this. For example selling insurance.

  • I enjoy this programme.

  • My programme is structured particularly well, always having things to do, learning things at my pace.

  • My training adviser is always there for support when I need to speak to someone who knows a bit more about it and for when I get stuck.

  • Things that my training adviser gets me to do helps me with my everyday role as it helps builds up my knowledge, helping me with some locations of the customers.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a good way to get an insight of the travel industry and with this role in particular it helps open many doors for the future.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
  • You need to put in a lot of effort to achieve what you are after as you have so much more training to get you started. If it starts off slow it is because it is required for you to complete all training tasks such as health and safety so you are aware and know what to do in any situation that is put in front of you.
