  • 1. Please give an overview of what your work experience involved:
  • we got to speak to a range of solicitors from different background and got to hear the process it took for them to work in the legal sector and well as what is like currently working in the legal sector. we also had a debate which was really interesting an fun because it was about something you wouldn't think lawyers typically talk about in court (are jaffa cakes cakes are biscuits?).

  • 2. What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?
  • i learnt that i didn't necessarily need to do a law degree to work in the legal sector, i can do any degree that i want and convert it into a law degree. i also learnt through a debate how to find evidence within a document and argue my point forward and also counter argue someone else's point.

  • 3. To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?
  • really enjoyed my work experience. i think i gained knowledge i didnt know before as well as basic knowledge needed to know if i wanted to work in the legal sector like what different titles actually are what what someone who has that title actually does on a day to day basis. i also learnt about the journey to work in the legal sector in a more clear and detailed way compared to before where i barely knew anything about the process.
