  • I work within the 'People' team which involves adult and children's social care. I help manage procurement processes for commissioners looking to start projects I monitor contract management on various contract types I facilitate and support spot contracting for all adult care providers

  • Much better at communication and being proactive. Much more assertive and confident too

  • I really enjoy it - it link in really well with my job so it helps me put my progress (that I otherwise may not notice) on paper

  • I like it, it's a great balance of independent working and check ins with my personal tutor / class group

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer, particularly my manager, is very supportive. They always ensure I am using my allocated day a week for studying and check in iwth me.

  • A lot - the regular check ins are really helpful if I need support

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It helps me identify areas of strength and weakness I wouldn't have otherwise picked up on, so I have a better awareness of my performance.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • My team try and meet up outside of work every couple of months, I've also recently been involved in networking events with the Neurodiversity group at my workplace

  • They are a very accommodating employer so express interest in further development / opportunities if that's something you'd like or would help you get a particular role.
