  • I work in the Tradepoint department, mainly serving traders, signing up new traders. Stock filling, making orders, checking consents meet the gdpr regulations

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My customer service skills are much better, always something to learn. I'm using a computer more and developed some skills there. I've learnt how to amend existing orders, how to cancel then on a computer

  • I like to learn new skills, which this could be where I might find them given the right time ans space to do this

  • Could be better, I feel there could be more training given to people who are not quick learners, like myself

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I get time for meetings, webinars, but that's basically it. When ask if I can get some hours for example, I get told yeah... but then nothing

  • I do get quite alot, if I have any problems I can message them and they quite quick to reply considering they all jobs to do as well

  • I have only been doing this a couple of months but have also learnt quite alot already I have even changed a few things that I was doing, not wrong, but differently

  • Yes

  • Everyone is friendly, helpful, kind. Everyone and anyone, no matter what background you are from are made to feel welcome. They believe in diversity and equality which is a good thing in the kind of world we live in now


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to B&Q?
  • Can be challenging, and also hard work
