  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Organising hire contracts for customers via email, phone and face to face, from using our own fleeted items to re hire items such as Security units, portable toilets etc, I maintain our stock levels to ensure that we are able to provide our customers with what they need, ensuring all of our equipment is utilised to ensure that the money we are spending on our hire items is been well spent. Calling customer who trade with us regularly and customer who haven't trade with us to see if they need any hire items or materials for any upcoming jobs, talking with them through prices. I would organise deliveries and collections for customer who can't get into branch themselves. i also test our items to make sure that they are safe and ready to use.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Not very structured, we had a ggolge space calle d classrooms in which all of the apprentice on the same course as me could communicate and share our experiences to help each other progress we also go our work through classroms and majority of the time there was no instruction there was no input from the coaches "Adam Jackson" and all the links they would send to help us wouldnt work or we wouldnt be allowed access. whenever i asked for help i got ignored or treated poorly in sense that i should know. My current work coach has been a saint and he has helped me finish the apprenticeship, he is a fountain of knowledge and he help me complete my ILP when i didn't know how to fill it out.
