  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • • Currently managing eight vendors accounts that provide their services and products to B&Q. In line with managing their account, I monitor their performance, review their KPI and make sure that they are fulfilling their contractual agreement with us. • Effectively Liaise between agency and Project planning team for resourcing and allocating qualified candidates for ongoing reviews/projects. • Negotiating scheduling for projects with sub-partners with guidance from project managers. • Providing professional support and guidance to Retail Services Suppliers, Agency Partners and Suppliers on invoice tracking and payments. • Working closely with the project team and change planning team to build a pipeline of future projects. • Some of my recent costing include- Merchandising feasibility costing for all the new B&Q stores- Wallington, Redhill, Twickenham, Wandsworth, St Albans, Canterbury, Oxford etc. • Vendor setup for all new stores • Agency resource scheduling and PO management for - 3 Multimillion pounds Neutron projects. • Providing cost advice and feasibility analysis to format project proposal teams in conjunction with proposal objectives. • Ensuring required cost proposals and supporting documents are prepared timely, accurately and follow company policy. • Owner of B&Q Store Controllable Cost Account where I am responsible for summarizing individual store's current financial status to them by analysing financial reports. Review and recommend procedures to individual store to maintain budgeted amount to minimum. • I have recreated a new store Controllable cost page which has increased the efficiency and accessibility for the stores. • Managing the agency purchase order and raising purchasing order against agency cost packs. • Managing relationships between agency finance team and finance controllers • After joining B&Q, I have also completed few Supply chain management course with Accenture that was freely available for Kingfisher employees. • I have completed the H&S certification from IOSH under B&Q • I am currently enrolled into Associate project manager apprenticeship programme which will be completed by February 2023.
