  • i am a travel advisor so i help customers book their dream get away from either coming into store or from the comfort of their own home. on a day to day basis i am faced with different people and i am faced with many problems and quieries

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • yes. i have developed skills in IT and computing throughout working here as i was awful before having this job. i also have learnt new skills that have developed my confidence in public speaking

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • i really enjoy as i had 5 years customer service experience before this job and i have been working since i was 13. i have always wanted to work in travel and i have previously done a course in cabin crew at college. i love how customer focussed the job is and how sociable it is too

  • very structured my manager plans out days on our rota for me to be off the shop floor and complete my modules. as well as planning in time for me to have my calls with my apprentice coach

  • alot of support my line manager jess is amazing as we always have her to ask any queries and if i am stuck on a certain part of my work then she will always offer to help

  • i get given feedback from each piece of work with what i did well and an action plan to work on before my next review

  • i have more knowledge in geography than i use to as well as in IT

  • WE HAVE EDUCATION TRIPS OFFERED TO US ALL THE TIME TO APPLY FOR TO TRAVEL TO DIFFERENT DESTINATIONS AROUND THE WORLD.

  • Yes

  • because if you love travel and love socialising then this is the perfect job for you


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
  • be yourself, dont think they will judge you because travel is perceived on looks and beauty, but actually it is a diverse place to work where you make friends for life and meet some amazing people and you can be offered experiences of a lifetime
