  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • i have learned that conversation with customers is the key to getting the sales we need. also how to read our daily sales reports. i have also learned that listening to my staff and getting them involved in using their own initiative is helpful to the business and to my own development and to give my staff confidence to believe in themselves

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • i enjpyed the programme when it gave me the opportunity to look at my peers for encouragement and advice. i love to learn so having the opportunity to find the next task that would help me learn something new or develop on a skill i already have, such as leadership skills

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • my programme was well structured and easy to follow and my mentor made it so much easier for me to follow with the lifetime training modules and the fuse app that i used, I'm now doing another apprenticeship and they have took all that away just now and i am finding it hard to keep up with it.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • At my last store in i received so much support and my manager would always remind me to take time away to do my work for the apprenticeship. My peers would take time out this busy day to help me if i needed it, and help me with the evidence i needed as i found that part the most difficult.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • my training provider was cat and she was amazing she would answer my emails really quickly, she would simplify things for me when i couldn't get what was being asked of me. she made me think of my future and what i wanted from it while working in b&Q

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • my qualification has given me confidence to believe in myself about the task i do and means i don't have to get someone from my management team to reassure me that i was doing it right. it also gave me the confidence to use my own initiative to come up with ideas to help the business make profit.
