  • Assisting solicitors with their workload - drafting letters, emails and legal documents to clients or the opposition.

  • I have enjoyed my apprenticeship so far and would recommend it to other aspiring solicitors.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I have one day a week as my non-working day to attend lectures and complete university work/coursework which is really helpful. BPP communication is generally regular but could be improved for the SQE stages of the course.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There is plenty of support from the Apprenticeship Manager and also from supervisors I have had in the various teams I have been in.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I received a good amount of support during the earlier years of my apprenticeship but in the final term (SQE stage) we were left to our own devices and response times deteriorated, so this could be improved.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The theory provided by BPP and the practical experience provided by my employer go hand in hand and really work well together.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I have had the opportunity to work in several different department throughout my apprenticeship which has been really great experience and has involved lots of different work. All teams have been super supportive.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to DWF Law LLP?
  • Try to arrange some work experience with a particular team or teams
