Going to customer premises to install, repair or maintain BT equipment

I have learnt lots of new technical skills and have developed my skills of working within a business

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really enjoyed my programme so far, I have enjoyed going on lots of training courses and meeting all of the people in my team

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well organised, my firebrand mentoring is very good at giving a clear order of what work I need to get done

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support from my manager, apprentice lead and also from the ex apprentices within my team

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a good amount of support as they offer me lots of materials or anything I request they will do their best to provide it

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it does help as it is all relevant to my job role and has really boosted my technical knowledge as I come from a non technical background

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is always lots of social events within my team and also the apprenticeship team and there are also lots of networking events

Yes

Because it is a great company to work for and I have really enjoyed my programme so far

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?

It doesn't matter what work you have done previously you will be given all of the support to learn it so don't be put off if you feel like you don't know enough
